Malaysia tin up $290/tone

Kuala Lumpur, Feb. 3

The local tin market closed higher on Wednesday, and the trading volume rose compared with Tuesday. Tin price on the Kuala Lumpur tin market increased $290 to close at $16,640 a tonne. Meanwhile, turnover increased to 55 tonnes from 50 tonnes on Tuesday.
