Spot rubber prices were unchanged on Friday. Marginal losses in the domestic rubber futures did not make any visible impact on the physical prices and most of the players seemed to be waiting for the international markets to resume trading after the weekend holidays.

Sheet rubber closed unchanged at Rs 131.50 amidst scattered transactions. The volumes were dull.

RSS 4 weakened at its February futures to Rs 132.48 (133.13), March to Rs 134.34 (135), April to Rs 138 (139.02) and May to Rs 140.37 (141.48) a kg on National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).

Spot rates were (Rs/kg): RSS-4: 131.50 (131.50); RSS-5: 129 (129); ungraded: 126 (126); ISNR 20: 129.50 (129.50) and latex 60 per cent: 90 (90).
