Tin drops on lack of demand

Prices of tin, nickel and copper declined in a mixed non-ferrous metal market on Wednesday due to lack of industrial demand. Tin dropped by Rs 15 a kg to Rs 855, nickel by Rs 10 a kg to Rs 740, copper scrap heavy by Rs 4 a kg to Rs 248 and copper sheets cutting by Rs 4 a kg to Rs 242. Copper cable scrap, copper armature and copper wire bar also looked down by Rs 3 a kg each to Rs 251, Rs 246 and Rs 279 respectively. Brass utensils scrap firmed up by Rs 6 a kg to Rs 179, brass sheets cutting by Rs 5 a kg to Rs 186, zinc by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 74, copper utensils scrap by Re 1 a kg to Rs 238 and lead by Re 1 a kg to Rs 90.
